OK Video Privacy Policy: how we collect, use, and protect information when you use video.okayok.ai.

Last updated: 2026-10-06

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how OK Video (video.okayok.ai), part of the Okay OK product family, collects, uses, and protects information. This document is a draft for transparency and does not constitute legal advice.

Information We Collect

  1. Account information — If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and related profile details.
  2. Usage data — Pages and tools you visit, approximate timestamps, referrers, and basic interaction metrics.
  3. Device and technical data — Browser type, OS, language, IP address (or truncated IP), and similar diagnostics.
  4. Tool inputs — Video files and settings you load into tools. Most OK Video processing is designed to run in your browser (client-side / WebAssembly-style pipelines where applicable). In those cases, media contents are not uploaded to our servers for processing. If a tool requires server-side processing, we will disclose that in the tool UI before you proceed.
  5. Cookies and similar technologies — See Cookies below.
  6. Payment information — If paid features are offered, billing is handled by third-party processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Upload lifecycle and sensitive content

When a tool processes video locally in the browser, media generally stays on your device for that session and is not retained on our servers after the tab is closed. If a cloud or AI-assisted feature requires upload, files may be transmitted to our storage and/or subprocessors, processed for the requested task, then deleted or expired according to that feature’s retention rules (request details via support@okayok.ai). Video and audio may contain biometric or other sensitive personal information — do not upload such content unless necessary, and only if you have the right to process it. You are responsible for content warranties (rights, legality, and non-infringement).

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as language), and measure site reliability and traffic when analytics are enabled. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling some may limit account or preference features.

AI and tool data handling

Video files and settings you load into tools. Most OK Video processing is designed to run in your browser (client-side / WebAssembly-style pipelines where applicable). In those cases, media contents are not uploaded to our servers for processing. If a tool requires server-side processing, we will disclose that in the tool UI before you proceed.

If you use features that call AI models (when enabled), prompts or selected content you submit may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate a response. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal data to AI features unless you accept that provider’s processing. We do not use your tool file contents to train our own models.

Third-party services

  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
  • Cloudflare — DNS and CDN / security.
  • Object storage (S3-compatible / Cloudflare R2 when configured) — for features that persist uploads or generated files (not for typical client-side-only tool runs).
  • Auth / email / payment providers — when you sign in, receive mail, or purchase.
  • AI providers — only when you explicitly use an AI-powered feature.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we use information

Provide and improve OK Video; secure the service; communicate about accounts and support; process payments when applicable; comply with law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information via support@okayok.ai. We may verify your identity first.

Data security and retention

We use HTTPS and access controls. Retain account and operational logs only as needed, then delete or anonymize where practicable.

Governing law

Intended governing law: [Jurisdiction to be confirmed by counsel] (operator based in the People’s Republic of China). Mandatory consumer rights are not limited.

Changes

We may update this policy by changing the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.

Personal information processor

The personal information processor for this site is the Okay OK operator (contact: support@okayok.ai / guoqiang.fu@okayok.ai). Purposes and means of processing are described in the sections above (account operation, site security, analytics/hosting, and optional paid features). Categories typically include account identifiers, usage/technical logs, and communications. Retention follows the Data security and retention section. You may exercise rights (access, copy, correction, deletion, and other rights available under applicable law including China’s PIPL where it applies) by contacting us. We will notify you of material changes to this notice by updating the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.

Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Separate consent will be sought where required for sharing, cross-border transfer, or processing of sensitive personal information.

Cross-border transfers

Infrastructure providers (for example Vercel, Cloudflare, and storage/AI vendors) may process data in or from locations outside your country, including outside the People’s Republic of China. Where PIPL cross-border rules apply, we will use a lawful mechanism (such as a standard contract, security assessment, or certification, as applicable) and provide required recipient disclosures. Details of specific recipients can be requested via support@okayok.ai.
